In order to lose weight one has to drink cold water

The myth is based on somebody’s saying that with getting cold water your organism is forced to spend additional calories on its warming. Physiologically it is true only the number of spent calories is so small that it is not worth taking the trouble to. There is no difference between warm and cold in the terms of losing weight. It is just a myth. And as a whole, to drink water is healthy because it contributes to expediting metabolic process, purifies organism of metabolism products and thereby helps to lose weight.
